JSL Tryouts 2025: Your Shot at Playing in Japan

We will be selecting 6 players from 6 cities to join us for an exclusive opportunity to play in Japan. The Japan Summer League (JSL) is not just a basketball competition—it’s an immersive experience that combines high-level competition with the chance to dive deep into Japanese culture. Players will get to experience the lifestyle of a professional athlete while competing in Japan’s premier summer league. This is a rare opportunity for athletes to showcase their talent in front of top pro teams, and who knows—it could be your gateway to a pro basketball career.

JSL is Japan’s top summer basketball league, bringing together elite players from college, semi-professional, and professional backgrounds. This is your moment to compete with some of the best in the game, all while being scouted by Japanese pro teams and sports agents. The stakes are high: over 30 players from past JSL seasons have signed pro contracts with teams in Europe and Asia. Will you be next?

Selection Process:

Only 1 player will be selected from each tryout city to join the JSL team in Japan. This is your shot at playing on one of the biggest stages in basketball. JSL will select the best player based on skill, attitude, physical traits, IQ, and ability to adapt to the Japanese culture.

📍Phoenix, Arizona – March 16, 2025

📍 Los Angeles, CA – March 29, 2025

📍 San Diego, CA – April 4, 2025

📍 Seattle, Washington – April 5, 2025

📍 Orange County, CA – April 18, 2025

📍 San Francisco, CA – April 19, 2025

Registration Fees:

REGISTRATION COSTS FOR TRYOUTS ARE $200/PERSON.

• Pay entire Registration Fee of $200 or make payments
• Make Payments of $50 (FINAL PAYMENT DUE ON FEBRUARY 28)
• At the Door: $250 (REGISTRATION + LATE FEE)
• All athletes must attend the tryout day to be eligible for All-Expenses Trip to Japan
